Training/Consulting
Linda works with with insurance professionals who are recently licensed and/or seeking a deeper, more comprehensive knowledge about a particular line of insurance or aspect of the insurance industry.
Two types of services are provided during the client’s choice of telephone or video conference:
(1) Training about the client’s choice of insurance topics and/or policies and how they work
(2) The provision of advice relating to principles and practices in the insurance industry, with a focus on the agency environment and agency/carrier relationships
These training sessions are provided on an individual or group basis and are also tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
Insurance Contnuing Education Course Development and Writing
Linda works with approved continuing education providers to develop and write online, self-study, classroom, and webinar courses.
She currently provides services on a work-for-hire basis to design and write new courses, and, occassionally, to edit/rewrite courses already in her client’s catalogue.
As a former approved CE provider in multiple states, Linda is familiar with regulatory requirements in most states and produces material that earns quick approval.
Linda is currently building a catalogue of courses that can be purchased outright. The anticipated launch date of that service is April 1, 2026.
Speaking/Presenting
Linda is open to a wide variety of opportunities to share her expertise with writers, insurance professionals, entrepreneurs, and small businesses.
Examples of past presentations include:
- Career development workshops for employees at a Montana university, a credit union, and an insurance brokerage providing lawyer’s professional liaility
- Workshops for insurance company and agency pesonnel
- Speaking as a panelist at writer’s conferences and as facilator/mentor for unpublished writers in a monthly Craft Chat session
- Host of two podcasts: Taking the Mystery out of Insurance and Writer’s Voice
